The significance of Roman museums for today’s generation:

Roman History is one of the most studied and researched topics by the archeologists and the historians all over the world. The excavations in Italy, the Roman civilization, ancient Roman ruins and the whole culture that was found provided a number of evidence that helped the archeologists come to realistic conclusions.

The conclusions were based on the variety of figurines, coins, art pieces, statues, vessels, jewelry, etc. that were found at the excavations sites. Today, we find a variety of Roman antiquities in the ancient Roman museums. Vatican museum house is the most famous Roman museum that exhibits the famous elegant masterpieces from the palaces. These were initially built for the Renaissance Popes. The Julius II, Sixtus IV and Innocent VIII were some of these popes.

Galleria Borghese is the museum which is located in beautiful Villa Borghese Park and it is known for the superfine collection various classical sculptures.

It is particularly known for the Bernini’s delicate marble of Daphne and Apollo and the very prominent, David. The marble depiction of Canova of a reclining Pauline Bonaparte was also one of the added attractions.
